Job Description

CGG’s products and services span the breadth of geosciences, from frontier exploration to mature field revitalization. We acquire, process, analyze and manage all forms of geological and geophysical data including seismic, gravity, magnetic and satellite. We help our clients find resources, characterize reservoirs, estimate reserves, place surface facilities, monitor wells, optimize production and increase ultimate recovery. Founded in 1961, Robertson is renowned for delivering global datasets, knowledge and experience in upstream oil and gas consultancy. Their services range from Non-Exclusive studies to Multi-disciplinary services, are active in all processes relating to the search for, and exploitation of hydrocarbons.

That strategy requires a combined and collaborative effort between the Regional Scientific teams and the Sales & Marketing one, all aiming at excellence and innovation on the technical and service fields.

As part of the commercial team, you will be working in a dynamic market in order to achieve our ambitions and maintain our leadership.

The successful candidate will build lasting relationships with our customers, promoting our ability to deliver outstanding projects and will be ultimately generating highly profitable business.

As part of a wider team the incumbent will be in constant communication with an array of clients to secure project awards. This could be through existing projects, direct award discussions, tender responses, conferences or more general visits. As part of the team you will be engaging in open and honest discussions with our clients to represent the company and win new work.

You will be keeping up to date with technology and building strong internal relationship, all whilst monitoring market information and devising new strategies to improve the profitability of the company.

There will also be a requirement to get involved in a broader range of duties around how we handle business enquires.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to BSc level or above in Geology, Geoscience or Geophysics.

Experience of working in technical environment would be desirable along with relevant IT qualifications. Excellent Microsoft office skills, customer service and leadership skills are all required.

Having a good understanding of different cultures around the world would be advantageous.
