We bring our clients a unique range of technologies and services, designed to generate stunning 3D images, geological data and remote sensing information of the Earth’s subsurface structures.

Job Description

Do you want to use science and creative thinking to solve real problems?

We use exploration geophysics to map the subsurface structure using imaging techniques based on applied physics. CGG is a recognized leader in subsurface imaging and our international teams are dedicated to solving our clients’ complex challenges.

Our Subsurface Imaging Internship Programme is looking for exceptional people with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, who will apply these skills to solving these complex data issues.

Become Part of our Team

As part of our eight week internship programme (2nd July 2019 to Friday 23rd August 2019) you will be working in a project focused team responsible for building 3D subsurface images from reflection seismic soundings, all of which are constructed using data processing modules on CPU and GPU computer systems.

You will use your practical mathematics and physics skills to image seismic data to create stunning 3D images of the subsurface.

Following initial training on how to use our software, our Interns will be taught CGG’s processing modules and how to run seismic projects; from testing to QC and the presentation of these results.
