CM Labs is seeking a mechanical engineer to join its Simulation Project Team. The candidate will participate in the real-time dynamics simulation of vehicles and heavy equipment for offshore/subsea operations, military ground vehicles, mining equipment, construction/port cranes, and robotics. CMLabs Vortex Studio simulators are used for training operators and planning operations in different domains such as heavy equipment, subsea remotely operated vehicles, mining equipment, and human controlled robots.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding clients’ needs, converting those needs into engineering specifications, and establishing efficient simulation methodologies using CM Labs Vortex Studio software tools and technology. Candidates must have good oral and written communications skills and work well in a team environment.

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 years of experience involving hands-on engineering of mechanical systems and dynamics simulation of equipment or vehicles
• Expert in understanding complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Expert in understand client’s requirements and business processes
• Experience in multibody dynamics and mechanical systems' simulation
• Experience in analyzing schematics, specifications and codes to determine project requirements and risks
• Past experience in the real-time, visual simulation industry is an asset
• Multidisciplinary background and diverse experience
• Knowledge of C++ is an asset
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Oral and written bilingual (French and English)
