Job Description

Is responsible for the comprehensive nursing  care of assigned patients.  Ensures all  patient information is kept secure and confidential.  Must have excellent communication and people  skills and work well with others.  Will  work under the direction and supervision of the health center director and/or Physician.

Qualifications

Must have graduated from an  accredited school of professional nursing.   Must be licensed as a LVN by the State of Texas.  Previous employment in a medical office or  public health clinic is preferred.  Must  demonstrate knowledge of/and ability to apply basic principles of nursing  care.  Experience in women’s health is  preferred.  Must have a valid driver’s  license and a safe driving record.   Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability is preferred.  Must be able to pass a pre-employment  physical and a criminal history background check.
