The mission of the Community Action Corporation of South Texas is to improve the   quality of life, health, and to promote self-sufficiency of the people of South   Texas, by:  identifying community needs; using all resources within our agency   and in the community; and forming partnerships to expand our communities’   resources.         

General Summary:  

The employee will be responsible to assist with the  maintenance and up-keep of the Mullen building.  Assist with emptying trash, sweeping, mopping and filling towel dispensers. 

Salary:  $11.00 per hour and position is part-time. 

Qualifications: 

Must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent; a valid driver’s license, criminal background check, safe driving record and acceptance by the Agency’s vehicle insurance carrier are required. Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) is preferred. Three years of prior experience in facility maintenance or janitorial work is preferred.
