Job Description

Job Summary
 
The Regional Leisure Sales Manager will be an integral member of the sales team, and actively solicits and handles all leisure request from all channels. The leisure sales manager will participate in the continuing effort to deliver distinct guest experiences and nurture lasting relationships with our customers with a focus on building value-based customer relationship that enable achievement of optimum sales objectives.
This position is responsible for the properties in the Americas, COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach and COMO Parrot Cay, Turks & Caicos. The position is based in Miami Beach, Florida.
 
Main Duties and Responsibilities
 

With an innovative mind set, identify and enthusiastically create new contacts and develop sales leads through phone solicitation/prospecting, sales calls, trade shows, etc. 
Respond to sales inquiries and contact potential clients to build and nurture lasting business relationships. 
Understand the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and strategically sell against our competition. 
Take initiative to go beyond the ordinary to differentiate us from the competition and create loyalty. 
Understand fully the hotel(s) amenities, venues and options and provide recommendations to create authentic and distinctively different experiences for our group guests. 
Anticipate our guests’ needs and respond promptly. 
Create, execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, customer correspondence). 
Produce quotes and written confirmation to all clients. 
Maintain timely and accurate recording of activity to include appointments, calls made and business leads.
Responsible for producing key client annual business plans and liaising with relevant clients.
Update sales force according to sales activities.
Prepare timely reports, feedback and data to Regional Director of Sales and Marketing
Atttend and contribute to scheduled sales meeting and complete action required by deadline set.
To assist the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing with the annual sales and marketing plan.
To conduct Fam Trip, site inspection, on property(ies) entertainment as needed.
Ensure that all leads, NET Rates agreement and consortia solicitation programs are completed on time dispatched and acceptances communicated to all relevant parties and applicable rate loaded.
Prepare timely reports, feedback and data to Regional Director of Sales and Marketing.
Attend and contribute to scheduled sales meeting and complete action required by deadline set.
Attend and contribute to scheduled sales meetings and complete tasks by deadlines set.
Liaise and build relationships with other travel suppliers useful to the company.
Attend daily operation meeting when needed.

Qualifications

Job Requirements 

Prior experience in luxury hotels or resorts a plus, specifically Sales in the leisure market
Travel up to 60% may be required
To be a positive and supportive team player
Self motivator
Forward thinker
To demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Fluent in English and bilingual in another language is highly preferred
Attention to details excellent customer service
Ability to access and accurately input information into a computer using Microsoft Office Suite, Opera etc.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic administrative knowledge such as business letters, format and telephone etiquette
Valid Driving license
Valid passport to travel in and outside of USA
Requires standing, sitting for extended periods, walking, pushing, kneeling or crouching.
