Position Summary:

The Android Developer will design, develop and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform as part of a cross-functional team of software developers and engineers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced applications for Android platform from initial concept and requirements development through to production implementation and support

• Trouble shooting, problem solving, root cause analysis, etc. of software issues

• Work with cross-functional teams to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces

• Learn to modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance

• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

• Help in developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation

• Continue to stay current in training in the latest software and computer technology

• The position may require additional duties as assigned

• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering or Computer Science

• Experience with Android SDK and Android OS

• Knowledge of Java, J2EE, C/C++, Android OS, JSON

• Knowledge of mobile application industry landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies

• Experience with software design methodologies, such as V-Model, and latest software quality standards

• Experience with Apple iOS is a plus
