BC’s professional accounting bodies, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC (ICABC), the Certified General Accountants Association of BC (CGA-BC), and the Certified Management Accountants Society of BC (CMABC) have signed a merger agreement and are working together to establish the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC (CPABC). Currently, accounting bodies representing all of Canada’s professional accountants in every jurisdiction are committed to unification or have already merged under the CPA banner.


Job Description

Assisting in the implementation of the marketing plan, the Coordinator will participate in the creation of the marketing strategy and product positioning, while coordinating project management details with outside suppliers including graphic designers, signage, printers, agencies and media buyers. Key to success is the ability to manage timelines, track budgets, maintain accurate records, purchase orders, and ensure appropriate approvals for all advertising submissions.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Superior software skills: Must know and understand advanced features of Microsoft Office.

• Work with multiple vendors and client groups, often with competing demands and timelines.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.

• Solid organizational capability, ability to multi-task and excellent attention to detail.

• Flexible, responsive and ability to exercise good judgement.

• Some experience and knowledge of design programs such as Indesign is desired but not essential.


Additional Information

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing collateral projects as defined by Marketing Department: content collection, production and printing/distribution and inventory management.

• Support the VP in implementing tactical programs and campaigns, and provide project and administrative support. Supports the development and distribution of marketing and sales materials.

• Work with external suppliers and coordinates the production of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits or other branded materials.

• Drafting and writing social media posts, collateral copy and updates layouts

• Assist with drafting and posting communications required for recruitment; employer relations.

• Attending recruitment events as needed.

• Maintaining files and information for key vendors such as contacts, solution description, active deals, regional contacts, agreements, and specific product information/versions of integration, quotes, RFPs and website content.

• General support to sales team as required.
