Job Description

Established multi-site / state hospice provider seeks an experienced Hospice Care Representative (Sales Person) to join their team.  Base salary is approximate and negotiable based on experience, plus exceptional bonus opportunities and great benefits.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
·     Responsible for meeting company’s census and admission goals
·     Responsible for development of a community relations and professional relations program to increase hospice awareness and recognition.
·     Assist with Hospice educational programs within community Nursing Facilities, hospitals, assisted living centers and other organizations in order to increase public awareness  
·     Assist with the development of information materials and packets
·     Coordinate special events for Community involvement
·     Assist with the coordination of public relations/media/advertising activities
·     Represent our Hospice at local community events as requested
·     Assists with correspondence and agency communication
·     Maintains all necessary documentation and confidential files for regulatory compliance
·     Assists with special events, projects and activities
·     Assist Volunteer Director with program development and volunteer retention.
·     Attends necessary training for job improvement
·     Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
 
QUALIFICATIONS
•         College degree preferred.
•         Two years of experience in health care related industry, hospice experience preferred.
•         One year experience in marketing/community relations preferred
•         Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Excel, Power Point, & Word.
•         Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
•         Must be self-motivated and disciplined
•         Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills
