Job Description
• Support acquisition of new customers and/or projects
• Manage the implementation of new projects
• Central point of contact for customer
• Manage and coordinate all technical, commercial, quality, and logistics aspects
• Manage and coordinate fastener and joint problem solving
• Manage and coordinate application development
• Manage and support process improvement/proposals/design for manufacturing ability
• Manage and support value added/value engineering objectives
• Manage and coordinate cost and timing information to customers
• Manage and coordinate customer fastener release process
• Support customer targets and milestones
• Report the actual usage of OK to use fastener list to the Chunk Teams and Program Management Steering Teams
• Report cost status and program readiness to internal and external customers
• Support progress review
• FSP BOM tracking process development
• Support to meet program cost targets during life of model to agreed contract terms
• Support program final assembly line fastener part count and standardization targets
• ISO 14001 awareness and act accordingly
• ISO/TS 16949 awareness and act accordingly (CAI matrix)
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar)
Professional experience: 5 years of experience in the automotive sector.
Project experience: Experience in leading cross functional teams, Knowledge & skills
Good mechanical knowledge and knowledge of fasteners is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Personality Team-oriented and stress resistant.
Mobility Flexible to travel on a regular basis. Travel time approximately 30%
