Position description

This is a combined business process and financial analyst position supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual rebate program reconciles in an SAP platform environment. Responsibilities will include the leveraging of business processes, systems, data, and accounting competencies in order to proactively conduct financial reconnaissance, analysis, and review of multi-million dollar customer rebate programs and pricing structures.

This position (candidate) will be required to apply understanding and application of the SAP ERP system parameters combined with other tools (Business Intelligence and SalesForce) in order to assess customer payouts to accurately reflect stated offer(s) to key customers. Additionally, the candidate will drive the primary data collection, analysis, and review in response to key customer or internal stakeholder inquiries related to settlement disbursements and post settlement recon efforts. Further responsibilities shall include assisting the Director of Pricing in developing streamlined workflows with respect to year end processing and annual settlement activity working with other departments (Finance, Sales, SAP Center of Excellence, etc.).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AREAS OF FOCUS:

Produce and perform monthly recon of key rebate settlement activity (monthly, quarterly, and annual programs). Identify anomalies, conflicts, process gaps, etc.

Assist Director of Pricing, his staff, and SAP Subject Matter Expert(s) in establishing best practices for rebate settlement recon and review and pricing anomalies. Further, the incumbent will continue to evolve standardized content format for customer summation and front facing customer communications related to settlement disbursement(s) and responses to key pricing inquiry.

Perform proactive research and analysis specifically in support of customer credit requests (and debits) for open/active and closed agre

ements.

Work with the CertainTeed SAP/IT Center of Excellence in an on-going effort to evolve a programmatic method that will provide pertinent support documentation to customers within the capabilities of SAP, the business intelligence software, or other resources. Additionally, work to establish a more streamlined and efficient processing effort to generate the required reports.
