Major Duties
Under general supervision of the executive director of Operations, works closely with Tseng College technical professionals to ensure the development and optimal use of college administrative and data reporting systems. Is responsible for the design, enhancement and support of the technical aspect of the CRM (Customer Relations Management) system used by the college. In addition to the CRM, the scope of the work for this position includes, but is not limited to, investigating and implementing other CRM related customer relations/analysis and communications software, a web-based administrative staging system to compliment University common system - PeopleSoft, developing sets of dashboard data collection and display from various data sources; e.g. PeopleSoft ( SOLAR & AAWS), SalesForce, and 4D staging administrative system, to help the College make informed decisions from all fronts, provide solutions and support to college units and individuals regarding best practices and procedures for systems and data.

Working with the other members of the Management Information System (MIS) team, conducts feasibility study; project design and planning; on-going resource and time management and implementation; performs project analysis and is the primary support for the SalesForce CRM system; analyzes user system and application needs, develops specifications and requirements for the optimal integration and implementation of systems; develops and implements new software changes and reports; consults with users, troubleshoots, generates reports and makes recommendations; creates and maintains longitudinal data reports and trend tracking for each program in an overall key data dashboard; and is responsible for ongoing application maintenance, upgrades and expansion. Creates a web-based application using industry standard programming languages, based on the prototype developed in 4D which is currently in use; works collaboratively with technical analyst and technical team to create innovative technical solutions to streamline and enhance administrative processes; addresses challenges presented by PeopleSoft Student Administration, AAWS (PeopleSoft web-based application system), and in-house administrative systems; and explores new technical developments and recommend new strategies to enhance the productivity and service excellence of the college whenever possible. A member of the AAWS system set-up and support team. May be called upon periodically to represent the Tseng College in meetings on the campus or at the state level. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field. Certification training and applied experience may be substituted for the required education, on a year-for-year basis up to two years. Three years of full-time, progressively responsible field-related experience that includes knowledge of relevant hardware, software, maintenance, and user support. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of a variety of software application packages, equipment platforms, reference database systems and sources, and training methods and a basic understanding of networks, data communication, and multimedia systems. Knowledge of relational database concepts and how to utilize current software tools to extract data needed for the web site. Knowledge of APIs and access security issues. Knowledge of information technology systems and/or applications; generally accepted methods of documentation; and methods and techniques of programming. Familiarity with course- authoring software and other programming tools. Ability and specialized skills: apply and assess user needs; identify, analyze and address user problems; learn new software; analyze problems and propose effective solution; understand functional and procedural requirements and develop alternative solutions; relate system solutions to departmental management and staff; and communicate effectively both orally and in writing; make presentations; conduct meetings; develop and/or provide user training; and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and administration. Creative technical skills, strong information organization and display skills.

Anticipated hiring range: $4314 - $5850, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Temporary-year-to-year renewable with the potential of gaining permanent status.
