Job Description

Candidate duties will include general IT helpdesk functions as well as more analytical duties. Windows PC software installation and troubleshooting. Answering technical support phone calls and emails from users and management staff. Remote and in-person technical problem solving and assistance with issues ranging in difficulty from password resets to printer driver and application installation to complete PC re-staging from scratch. Quick, over-the-phone training of staff on simple PC tasks such as file maintenance and printer installation. 

Qualifications

Candidate needs to be able to: 

- Work well on a team, communicating progress and status updates without reminder. 

- Work independently without constant supervision. 

- Communicate effectively with clients as well as team mates. Both orally and via email and written documents. 

- Work well with Windows 7+ and Microsoft Office 2010+ 

- Manage permissions of files and shares on a MS Windows PC / Network. 

- Copy / Move files around on a Windows PC with network attached drive storage. 

- Read, understand and update IT processes documentation. 

Some networking, light batch/vbs/other scripting or programming and some database knowledge would be advantageous but not required.
