Position summary

The General Shop Helper performs various maintenance and shop duties integral to the readiness of the CanaDream guest and sales fleet.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Provide general shop help

• Assist RV and PDI technicians with work as required

• Pick up parts from suppliers as required

• Clean and maintain the shop; putting away tools and sweeping floor

• Embrace CanaDream’s brand voice and best practices

• Perform other tasks as required

• Must certify to operate a propane pump

• Ability to learn in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment

• Attention to detail and take pride in your work

• Some familiarity with computers – technology is used to schedule and document daily tasks

  • Willingness to work well with diverse staff

• Flexibility in working hours

• Valid driver’s license

• Some automotive mechanical knowledge is a definite asset
