Job Description

Exciting opportunity to become a part of CAE's first in-house development team. This new dev team will be developing data-driven applications for the first large-scale arbitrage trading platform. We plan to grow increasingly intelligent so conceptual understanding of advanced software development and architecture is required. This isn’t your next contract job, but an opportunity to build a platform that is first of its kind. You will be changing the way our business functions and you will be able to see how it has benefited our company within weeks. 


Incumbent technologies:

  • Front-end tools: ASP.NET MVC, Telerik, jQuery
  • Middle tools: ASP.NET WEB API, C#, Entity Framework
  • Back-end tools: MS SQL


Qualifications

Must-have

  • 3+ years of experience utilizing C# in an Agile environment
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing and maintaining data-driven web applications
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working within jQuery or coding with JavaScript
  • Experience with test-driven development, testing and mocking frameworks
  • Advanced software development and architecture concept, like Inversion of Control, MVC-MVVM patterns, asynchronous programming, publish-subscribe
  • Experience developing SQL queries 

Preferred

  • UML: ability to create and understand standard diagrams
  • SOA: understanding the concepts or experience developing software in service oriented architecture
  • SOAP and REST web services: experience developing and consuming the
  • Entity framework or another ORM skills
  • Experience with Telerik or similar UI controls
  • Web application performance testing and analysis
