Find out how you can help Make It Possible in this specialty: Nurse Educator position for the Critical Care Units. 8-hour day shifts. Masters degree in Nursing or Nursing Education is required. Must have a minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, along with time spent functioning effectively in a teaching capacity in formalized programs of education in a nursing service or nursing education institution or agency.
The Nursing Educator plans, implements and evaluates educational programs for nursing and other clinical staff. The instructor functions within the established philosophy and goals of the Division of Nursing.
Current New York State registration to practice nursing is required. Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills are essential. Certification as a Basic Cardiac Life Support Instructor preferred.
