Company Description

We are currently seeking an NDT Level 2 Technician for a leading aviation maintenance company. The company provides design, machining, fabrication, component repair, electrical loom manufacture, and surface treatment services, to the Aerospace and Defence Industries. The engineering divisions are based in comprehensive, new, purpose-built manufacturing facilities at locations across the UK. The total surface area occupied exceeds 600,000 square feet, and is one of the largest privately owned facilities of its kind in the UK.

Job Description

Reporting to the Nominated Level 3, candidates will have good written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate, and hold a full UK driving licence. A flexible approach to work, the ability to work on own initiative or as part of the team, as well as being conscientious, showing attention to detail, and a high degree of integrity with a willingness to undertake additional training as part of a multi-disciplined team is essential.

Qualifications

Candidates will ideally meet the minimum requirements of PCN Aero / EN4179 Level 2 for ultrasonic, eddy current, penetrant and magnetic testing of aircraft undergoing maintenance. An adequate knowledge of inspection criteria, codes and statutory requirements together with experience of Boeing 727, 737, 757 and Airbus 319, 320, 321 series aircraft would be advantageous.

Additional Information

Basic Salary of £25,000 plus overtime pay, releastic OTE of £35,000
