Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Distribution Center Administrative Assistant will provide assistance for Charisma Media's Distribution Center by supporting the department manager with routine clerical and administrative duties with a high degree of attention and detail. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and print orders from using our shipping software, HighJump.
  • Process bill of landings for truck shipments
  • Process commercial invoices for international shipments
  • Process SED’s (Shipper's Export Declaration forms) for international shipments
  • Routing of Amazon shipments
  • Track shipments as requested
  • Print labels as requested
  • Provide assistance to freight forwarders as needed and requested
  • General office duties such as filing, ordering office supplies, keeping daily departmental attendance, copying, totaling time cards, etc. 
  • Answering phone requests from vendors, internal and external customers
  • Research orders when shipped, tracking numbers, carrier, # boxes, as requested.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory
  • Represents Charisma Media in a professional and personable manner
  • Abide by all policies and procedures of Charisma Media

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Computer literate
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Possess great time management skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common policies in the Distribution Center
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from in-house employees.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not a requirement
  • Prior experience in distribution center, or warehouse environment
  • Prior experience and knowledge of shipping procedure

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear for long periods of time. Must be able to listen and speak effectively on the phone.  The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

1051 Sand Pond Road,  Lake Mary, Florida. 

HOURS

Monday - Friday, 7:00 am  - 4:00 pm
