Job Description

This 9-month position assists with Teen Academy operations, development, facilitation, and data tracking. CAF’s Teen Academy includes after school programs, competitions, design builds, studios, and city-wide festivals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Program Implementation

  • Help coordinate a variety of teen experiences including workshops, custom programs, design studios and classes. Specific programs include the CAF Teen Fellows, Saturday Studios, After School Matters, Newhouse Architecture + Design Competition and Teen Summer programs.
  • Facilitate new innovative architecture design programming for teens which may include design-build projects and workshops; architecture and design competitions; career-based programming, and internship opportunities.
  • Support the integration of teen programs into CAF large-scale public programs, including developing permanent and temporary exhibitions and artifacts.
  • Set-up and help facilitate events for Teen Academy Programs.
  • Represent Teen Programs at off-site events, assisting with external communications (web site, email, other).

Administrative

  • Update and maintain student database and student contact information.
  • Track participation data and communications with a variety of teachers, and professionals in the ACE fields.
  • Assist with record-keeping & audience tracking for teen programming.
  • Assist the Education Department with special events, workshops, conferences, field trips, exhibitions and more.
  • Submit financial and administrative documentation for Teen Academy Programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
