Scope of responsibilities includes: analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.
Maintains a broad knowledge of software engineering and demonstrated ability to independently work on complex assignments.
Designs systems and programs to meet complex business needs.
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.
Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments within program code and technical documentation.
Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments.
Bachelors degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related discipline.
Required technical skills:
College graduate level, 2+ years of Java development experience
Microsoft SQL Server (Wintel environment)
Rational Clear Case
Microsoft Windows Server OS and Office Suite
IBM Rational Tools
Business Objects Enterprise
Understanding of standard SDLC process and Agile/Scrum methodology
