Strong Consolidations experience.  Prior Big 4 or Large Regional Public Accounting experience. CPA or CPA Pursuing preferred.

 

Senior Accountant – Consolidations & Reporting.  The primary purpose of this position is to participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closes in the consolidations group, including the review and analysis of various international subsidiaries, journal entries, and internal management reporting. You will also be responsible for participating in process improvement projects and for completing other non-routine assignments at the direction of department management 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include monthly responsibilities such as a comprehensive financial statement analysis for various international subsidiaries to ensure US GAAP compliance, balance sheet analysis, other expenses analysis and various internal management reporting in addition to other monthly responsibilities, as assigned by department management.  This includes ensuring that internal financial and management reporting is completed accurately and timely.

The Senior Accountant will participate in the company’s quarterly/annual reviews and external audits by completing account analysis, as assigned by department management, participate in process improvement projects (departmental, divisional and company-wide), as assigned by department management, assist management with the review of staff work and assignments and assist management with special assignments, as requested.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting along with 3-5 years of related experience. Candidates must be fluent in Excel and should have strong PC skills. A CPA candidate is preferred along with knowledge of JD Edwards and Hyperion financial systems.
