Job Description
Sr. Finance Manager will closely interact with financial leadership and staff, the commercial organization, and alliance management to develop, manage, and interpret product income statements and other financials. This individual should be an experienced manager with demonstrated success of career advancement and employee development. It is highly preferred that the candidate has experience working with biotech or pharmaceutical alliances in a sales and/ or marketing finance support role, and has familiarity in dealing with contractual matters/obligations. He/ she should have Product P&L management experience, as well as strong forecasting and modeling experience. The role requires the ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and alliance counterparts. Applicants should be capable of proactively identifying and addressing issues/ discrepancies with minimal management guidance.
The Sr. Manager of Finance reports directly to the Director of Finance and will provide additional support to the Finance team and Director, Commercial Finance.
Qualifications
Minimum of seven years with increasing responsibility
Experience in a financial role within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
Undergraduate degree in a scientific or business field;
MBA preferred
Strong knowledge of all phases and aspects of drug development and commercialization.
Demonstrated track record in financial management including experience with product P&Ls
Strong modeling and forecasting skills
