ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Collaborate with development team leadership to plan and architect new application infrastructure
• Provide leadership in adopting best practices and industry standards for application development
• Own development and maintenance of middle-tier, data and service components for existing and new applications
• Participate in presentation tier development as needed
• Participate in maintenance of existing applications as needed
• Mentor other team members at all levels to improve their skills and understanding of software development
• Follow direction from Team Lead/Solution Architect 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Five to seven years’ experience developing .NET applications and using complex databases
• Expert knowledge of SQL Server, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, MVC pattern, WCF and Web API services, active directory-based security
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, N-tier architecture, UI design, software testing and reporting
• Mobile application development experience
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas, technical concepts and obstacles with senior development staff
• Must maintain a global perspective while being detail-oriented
• Organized and have experience in multi-tasking
• Ability to provide exceptional follow through
• Customer-service driven attitude
• Flexibility in the face of changing requirements and priorities

PREFERRED SKILLS/Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SQL server, ASP, ASP.NET, MVC,  Entity Framework, WCF, Web API, Team Foundation Server, OO Development

EDUCATION:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent work experience.
