Job Description

Closed Loop is looking for a dynamic business development professional to help us rapidly grow our successful 25-person digital agency. The right candidate will have a proven track record of growing creative organizations.

Mission of this role:
To more than double our service revenue over the next three years, primarily by signing large profitable contracts with big brands and high-growth companies.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead all aspects of business development at Closed Loop – from establishing relationships with the right companies and generating quality leads to driving proposal development and making the final close.
  • Partner with our Director of Marketing to drive Closed Loop’s marketing efforts.
  • Build strategic awareness and visibility for Closed Loop among audiences that matter to us.
  • Set us up for long-term success by acquiring clients who share our values, give us the opportunity to make an impact and give us the freedom to do our best work.
  • Work with our executive team and service line leads to coordinate staffing plans to ensure we continue to deliver world-class service to our clients.
  • Design and roll out sales training to all client-facing employees to drive existing client revenue growth.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience selling agency services to medium and large companies
  • Existing connections with Marketing Executives in the Bay Area and beyond
  • Proposal development & pricing experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in growing existing clients
  • Prior management experience
  • A doer – While this is a strategic role, it requires someone who can get out and make things happen
  • Assertive, but plays well with others
  • Strong (and authentic) presentation skills

Desired:

  • Experience selling digital advertising, UX, user research and other strategic marketing services
  • Experience in thought leadership, event marketing or PR
