We operate in a pivotal moment in the ‘Internet of Things’ market, as various similar companies such as Nest and Dropcam have been bought up. We are targeting enterprises in the way those aforementioned companies targeted residential sectors. 

We're a startup who is doubling our sales every 6 months.  We have won very legitimate customers, proving our solution in the market in a serious way.  We have just completed a round of funding and want to focus on growth for our proven technology platform.

Job Description

Are you a Locksmith, Access Control, low voltage, Ethernet, CCTV installer in the Bay Area who wants to work in the Silicon Valley technology space? We are a software/hardware tech startup that has created cloud-based access control and video surveillance systems. We sell direct to large and small companies nationwide. We need someone to handle local installs as well as remotely manage our nationwide installs.

- Full time employee, contractor or part time all possible.

- Locksmith, Access Control, and Network Camera (formerly called CCTV) Installations for commercial customers in the Silicon Valley and surrounding area.

- You should be able to look at a door (single, double, glass, whatever) and know exactly how to electrify it (electrified strike/handle/pushbar, maglock, whatever), source the parts and get it installed.

- You will be installing our systems exclusively, we will train and support you on them.

- You must be able to pull and punch down Ethernet cables so that it looks like art.

- The average work week would involve commercial installation and service calls (tech support will be readily available to you when needed), as well as remotely supporting other quotes and installations outside the Bay Area. We will purchase any tools you don’t already have that are required.

- You need a reliable car to get you to Bay Area jobsites.  No need to come into Palo Alto most days.

- Ability to find and manage support technicians to come with you on local jobs as needed as well as locate, interview, hire and manage remote teams for installs outside of the Bay Area.

Qualifications

- Must have at least 1 year of related prior experience

- NICET Certification preferred, or we'll help you get it

- State Fire Alarm Certification preferred, or we'll help you get it

- Burglar Alarm installation experience preferred, or we'll help you get it

- C7 is preferred, or we’ll help you get it.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills required. You will be the face of our company.

- Requires valid driver's license, favorable DMV report, and background check (not saying we won’t hire you if you have a colorful past, we just need to know what that was and that it’s in the past)
