Our client requires an Application Developer to support development and maintenance activities, including the addition of new business applications to client's list of protected applications and provide support to other business applications as required

Requirements

-Experience working with Microsoft FoxPro

-Experience developing and maintaining asp.net applications based on business requirements within an organization of equivalent size and complexity to a large organization

-Experience with unit testing, system testing and test-driven development and tools within an organization of equivalent size and complexity to a large organization

-Experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 or higher, Microsoft C# 3.5 or higher and ASP.NET MVC 4 or higher and ASP.NET WebAPI

-Experience and technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or higher

-Experience and technical knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 or higher

-Experience and technical knowledge of HTTP RESTful Services

-Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or equivalency (GitHub, SourceForge, Subversion, etc.)

-Experience and technical knowledge of modular programming techniques

Desirable skills

-Experience in tracking and reporting of time and status on all work

-Experience with versioning of applications for release management

-Experience in an environment with continuous integration (TFS Build, MSBuild or equivalents)

-Experience developing in a N-tier environment

-Experience with post-secondary education or education systems

-Experience working within an enterprise architected environment

-Experience and technical knowledge of JSON

-Experience and technical knowledge of responsive design
