This is a young, growing company who are looking for an Technical Sales/Business Developer with "sparkle" and a solid background in an supporting a sales team. You’ll be responsible for supporting the sales people in the field while also generating lead and appointment for them. You'll also LOVE speaking people and have fantastic communication skills.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Be involved in supporting the sales team, from point of initial enquiry to equipment installation
  • Help to source new customers and play a significant part in driving sales and business development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Keep the paperwork in order - raise quotes, purchase orders, etc
  • Answer customer telephone queries, greet customers in the showroom
  • Support and assist existing sales staff in all aspects of sales and new business development
  • Be involved in other project based work as required - e.g. exhibitions, marketing

Qualifications

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience and a proven track record in a sales orientated role
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills underpinned by a sound education
  • Strong customer facing skills and a will to help others
  • High level of attention to detail as required in a technical environment
  • Above average working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
