Colby Community College is located in northwest Kansas, approximately 50 miles from the Nebraska and Colorado borders. The college has grown from 99 students in the fall of 1964 to around 1,800 in 2014.  

In addition to an 80-acre main campus, CCC has a 60-acre farm used as a hands-on laboratory and training facility. The college also accommodates hundreds of off-campus students at 24 locations in the 14-county service area through face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses.

Colby Community College is accepting applications for two (2) full-time Nursing Instructors. One will be located in Colby, KS and one will be located in Norton, KS. Duties include classroom and clinical instruction. MSN is preferred, but candidates with a BSN will be reviewed with the expectation of completion of an MSN in a timely manner. Integrity, innovative thinking, understanding of the rural community college, and ability to work as a team is necessary.
