Job Description

Colby Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Accounting and Business Instructor. Nine-month position to start August, 2016. Candidate should establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, administrators, and faculty. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will assess student learning and application of course objectives and competencies, along with designing, developing, and maintaining course curriculum. Participation in various professional activities such as actively serving on program advisory committees with area businesses, recruiting and advising students is expected. Understanding of the importance of technology, integrity, innovative thinking, and ability to work as a team to increase enrollment in a rural setting is necessary.   

Salary:
Mid-30s, depending on credentials.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting, or MBA with a minimum of 18 hours of financial accounting and 18 hours of economics is preferred 
  • Postsecondary teaching experience preferred
