Job Description

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY 

1. Provide day to day public records compliance monitoring by: investigating, analyzing and responding to misuse of public records by end users (VIP searches, Real-Time Monitoring incidents, customer misuse, employee misuse, etc), facilitate communications to internal stakeholders, and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence. 

2. Assist with contract and regulatory compliance, customer use case reviews, credentialing activities and other related investigations by assisting internal stakeholders (RF&I, segments, credentialing team, etc) in the review and analysis of actual and proposed use cases and provide timely guidance to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance. 

3. Assist with customer credentialing activities in the review and analysis of customer and customer use cases, provide timely guidance to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and maintain records of customer decisions. 

4. Assist with incident response including researching and investigation, project management, record keeping, and internal and external communications 

5. Manage the VIP monitoring, including daily review of search reports, communications to internal stakeholders, and overseeing the annual update process. 

6. Provide audit support in relation to data provider and customer security and compliance requests. 

7. Assist manager with development, implementation, and annual reviews of contract compliance policies and procedures. 

8. Assist Strategic Licensing team with contracting, contract management and administration activities across all License Areas. 

9. Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• B.A or A.A. degree with completion of an approved paralegal certificate program; 2-5 years of related work experience 

• Prior experience working with public records or regulatory compliance highly preferred 

• Demonstrated organization and analytical skills; ability to establish and maintain productive internal and external business relationships 

• Demonstrated ability to interpret, analyze, and organize detailed compliance and legal materials, excellent attention to detail 

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a productive manner without close supervision 

• Excellent PC skills and familiarity with software packages, including word processing and file management; familiarity with MS Office and MS Word preferred. PROLAW experience a plus
