Job Description:

Deliverables

· Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for the Safety Measurement System (SMS) suite of applications.

· Field Technical liaison for IT efforts pertaining too SAFE.

· Desktop support for Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8 environments.

· Service Desk ticket resolution using the Maximo Service Desk module.

· Setup of and installation of workstations, video teleconferencing, network devices, and mobile devices.

· Maintenance and management of SAFE IT computers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment, to include office systems and classroom systems.

· Research and development of IT-related solutions in support of Safety operations.

· Hardware and Software installation of complex IT solutions.

· Inventory control of IT-related hardware and software products for the Safety Department.

Supplemental Duties

In addition to the qualifications specified in the Statement of Work, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:

· Must have transit industry experience in a safety organization.

· Must have experience utilizing Safety Management applications.

· Must have practical experience utilizing root cause analysis software, such as Taproot.

· Must have experience providing IT support to safety officers and managers throughout incident and safety situation lifecycles.

· Must have understanding of OSHA principles and environment management and industrial hygiene.

· Must have experience using and managing Android, iOS, and Windows mobile devices.

· Must have experience providing help desk support in a Microsoft Exchange/ Active Directory environment.

· Must have SharePoint 2010 practical experience.

· Must have experience in the installation and operation of video teleconferencing systems.

· Must have experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and networks.

· Must have experience with IT classroom equipment setup and operation.

· Must have experience researching, developing, and implementing unique technology and IT solutions.

· Must have an understanding of the principles of fatigue management.

· Must be able to work from various locations throughout the metropolitan DC area.

· Must be able to lift and carry items in excess of 30 pounds.
