communities with the choice of a high quality education for their children in a

Concordia Charter School is seeking an experienced Principal for our Mesa campus. This individual will lead a school-wide effort to create a culture that is aligned to the mission and core values of the school. They will be responsible for building and managing a school team focused on student achievement. We use differentiated and small group instruction to support the diverse learning needs of our students. The Principal will provide instructional leadership and coaching to our teachers, observe their classroom instruction, assess their professional development needs and facilitate training. The Principal should be a creative thinker and have experience in analyzing data to drive instruction. We use the Core Knowledge Curriculum and Responsive Classroom behavior management system.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree and Masters Degree in teaching, administration, or leadership. Current Teaching Certification and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card. Principal Certification preferred. Minimum 5 years teaching and/or administration experience. Special Skills: Strong leadership, managerial, and organizational skills. Knowledgeable in computers, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel to produce accurate data analysis. Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members, parents, and community members.
