Senior Financial Systems Developer

Premier, global, law, firm is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Developer to be located in its New York, NY, Reston, VA or San Francisco, CA offices. The Senior Financial Systems Developer is responsible for determining the best technical approach to address the firm’s business needs and using the appropriate tools to meet the requirements of the specifications. This is a senior technical position that will also be responsible for formulating the model and approach as to how best to structure the solution based on the requirements, and within the context of the application framework. The Senior Financial Systems Developer should have working knowledge and experience with the Elite IDE object architecture and the Microsoft .Net framework. This position will also be an expert in the following Elite application components: Archetype Designer, Reports Designer, Object Designer, Process Designer, User Security and Process Security. The Senior Financial Systems Developer must have an intimate knowledge of the business processes and practices in the Accounting and Financial Services team. This person will work closely with these departments and the Financial Applications Business Intelligence Specialist to distill the real requirements from the incoming requests, and to design solutions that are comprehensive, and are as future-proof as possible within the Elite or other application frameworks. 

Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of programming in a relevant field and an expert knowledge of the accounting business processes, object oriented programming and concepts and the Microsoft .Net Framework.
