Job Description
Premier, global, law, firm is seeking an IT Project Manager to be located in its New York office. The primary, on-going responsibility of the IT Project Manager is for management of IT projects following the Firm’s established PMO methodologies and standards. This position will be responsible to lead a large number of projects from initiation to completion.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will be a Certified Project Manager (from accredited program) and/or have a PMP credential. Also required is a minimum five years of proven project management and planning experience implementing IT projects and a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Project. Prior law firm experience and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred. Successful candidates will be goal-oriented and have excellent analytical, problem solving, customer service, project management and communication skills. A successful applicant will also be flexible and patient with process development, execution and will adhere to project management practices. A proven track record of excellent decision making, integrity and working with IT management, business users and staff will be key.
