Corporate Communications Manager

Large, global, law, firm is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to be located in its San Francisco office. The Corporate Communications Manager will work closely with the Director of Communications, the Communications Team, the Chief Marketing Officer, firm management and the firmwide marketing department to oversee the cohesion of the Firm’s partnership and leadership communications. This includes centralizing departmental communications, while also playing a lead role in the Firm’s employer branding and employee engagement communications activities. The position will play a key role in communicating vision and strategy in conjunction with major operations and developments – from IT to Professional Development to CSR and more – and assist other department leaders on key written and other communications within the Firm. The position is part of a vibrant multi-platform communications team and will work closely within this team and with the CMO. This role has significant emphasis on strong writing and a keen appreciation of law firm life. This position will suit a person with a passion for powerful writing and multiple deadlines, with law firm experience, with executive and corporate communications experience, and with an adeptness for multi-tasking and for a sleeves-rolled-up approach to achieving success in all these areas. 

Qualifications

Candidates must possess 5+ years’ experience with internal communications within a professional services environment and have a fluency with and appreciation of technology and innovation. Executive communications experience and experience in the legal industry and with law firm management is required. Experience with Salesforce and WordPress is preferred as is a fluency with social media. Also preferred is experience in creating effective communication programs for large international professional services organizations and a college degree.
