Job Description
Constance Lemuria, a luxurious resort in the beautiful Seychelles, is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Reservation Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our discerning guests, ensuring a seamless booking experience that sets the tone for their unforgettable stay in paradise.
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms with a warm and professional demeanor
- Provide detailed information about room types, rates, packages, and resort amenities to potential guests
- Process reservations accurately and efficiently using our reservation management system
- Upsell room categories and additional services to maximize revenue while enhancing guest experiences
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill special requests and ensure guest satisfaction
- Manage and update reservation records, including modifications and cancellations
- Resolve booking-related issues and complaints with empathy and a solution-oriented approach
- Stay informed about current promotions, local events, and activities in the Seychelles to assist guests in planning their stay
- Generate reports and analyze booking trends to support revenue management strategies
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the resort's policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in hotel reservations or a related customer service role, preferably in luxury hospitality
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with high-end clientele
- Proficiency in reservation management systems and MS Office suite
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Understanding of the luxury travel market and its unique demands
- Familiarity with Seychelles as a tourist destination, including local attractions and cultural highlights
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry
- Fluency in English required; additional language skills (especially French) are a plus
