We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Manager to join our organisation in Constance Moofushi, Maldives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, and driving technological advancements within our company.

• Lead and manage the IT operations team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure optimal performance
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud-based systems
• Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all IT systems and data
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service level agreements
• Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
• Coordinate with other departments to identify and address IT needs and challenges
• Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Monitor and analyse system performance, recommending and implementing improvements as needed
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organisation

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT operations, with a proven track record in leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, network administration, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Expertise in IT security protocols and best practices
• Proficiency in project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience with performance monitoring, optimisation, and capacity planning
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• ITIL certification is highly desirable
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous
• Experience working in a tropical island environment is beneficial, given the unique challenges of IT operations in the Maldives
