Job Description

Constance Belle Mare Plage, a luxurious resort in Mauritius, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Supervisor to join our esteemed team. As a key member of our front-of-house operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining our high standards of service excellence.

  • Oversee and coordinate daily guest service operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and overall guest satisfaction
  • Lead, motivate, and train the guest service team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Manage guest inquiries and requests, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences across all touchpoints
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all guest-facing areas
  • Assist in developing and implementing guest service policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports on guest feedback, occupancy rates, and other relevant metrics
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in guest services or a related hospitality role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and luxury guest service standards
  • Experience with hotel management software and booking systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated track record in achieving high levels of guest satisfaction
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability and resilience in handling challenging situations
