Job Description
Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Assistant Spa Manager to join our award-winning wellness team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the management and growth of our world-class spa facilities while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist the Spa Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining high standards of service
- Supervise and motivate the spa team, ensuring efficient scheduling and optimal performance
- Manage guest bookings, inquiries, and feedback, ensuring prompt and professional responses
- Assist in developing and implementing new spa treatments and wellness programmes
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for spa products and supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, hygienic environment
- Assist in financial management, including budgeting, revenue tracking, and cost control
- Collaborate with other departments to promote spa services and create cross-selling opportunities
- Participate in staff training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate innovative practices to enhance the spa offering
- Conduct regular quality checks on spa treatments and services to maintain excellence
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase spa revenue and attract new clients
- Manage and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure smooth delivery of spa products and services
- Assist in organising and executing special events and promotions to showcase the spa's offerings
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Spa Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in spa management or a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry
- Proficiency in spa management software and financial management tools
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, therapies, and current wellness industry trends
- Relevant spa or beauty therapy certifications
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Creole would be advantageous
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the spa industry
- Adaptability to work in a tropical island environment and multicultural setting
