Job Description

  • Deliver clean linen, towels, robes, and amenities to guest floors in a timely manner.
  • Replenish housekeeping pantries according to par stock levels.
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with required supplies and amenities.
  • Remove soiled linen, trash, and recycling from service areas and guest floors.
  • Coordinate with Laundry to ensure continuous linen availability.
  • Assist Room Attendants during high occupancy or peak periods.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests (extra towels, pillows, toiletries, baby cots, etc.).
  • Deliver items within established service time standards (e.g., 10–15 minutes).
  • Greet guests professionally and maintain a polite, well-groomed appearance.
  • Respect guest privacy and follow Do Not Disturb (DND) policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of back-of-house corridors and storage areas.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards immediately.
  • Adhere to chemical handling guidelines and safety data sheet (SDS) standards.
  • Comply with fire, life, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in regular safety training sessions.
  • Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards at all times.

 

Qualifications

Qualification:
• Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus.


Experience:
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry.
• Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.
• Experience working in remote island locations is a plus.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products is a plus.


Technical skills:
• Excellent organization skills.
• Superb customer service to our guests.
• Able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner.
• Must be detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.
• Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Time management
