Job Description
- To follow the production targets and provide the necessary effort and coordination to achieve them
- Ensuring continuity by taking into account the complementary elements of quality at all stages of production
- To carry out studies (processes, equipment) to increase efficiency and to support these studies
- Making improvements (related to production) to ensure employee satisfaction and job security
- Reporting weekly and monthly production information
- Making annual training plans for production personnel
- Attending FMEA meetings of production departments
- Participating in proposal project team meetings
- Prepare, analyze production performances and take necessary precautions
- Carrying out and monitoring studies on new products and trial production
- Providing suggestions to PPI for developments regarding processes and machines/apparatus
- Keeping track of in-department stocks
- In case of non-conformity (reclamations, scrap, repair, etc.) to ensure that the necessary work is carried out and to inform the Quality Department
- Paying close attention to the problems of employees (belonging to their department)
- To monitor, inspect and ensure product and service quality within the framework of the Quality Management System
- If it is not possible to eliminate a problem immediately, stop production and/or initiate the necessary regulatory/preventive work, ensure that it is initiated and follow up.
- Participating in ESH practices within production and following inspections.
- Participating in inventory studies
- Ensuring that Series Start approvals are given
Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related technical discipline (depending on plant size)
- 5 or more years of professional experience in various production functions
- Cross functional experience e.g. in engineering, quality, supply chain or CBS preferred
- Comprehensive experience in rubber and plastic production processes
- Proficient in English. German is an asset
