Job Description

  • Lead product-specific ramp-up and change projects for new products, materials, equipment, and relocated processes.
  • Maintain and update production specifications, parameters, and documentation in line with standards.
  • Create and revise production flow charts, control plans, and work instructions in collaboration with Quality and based on central R&D/Application Engineering guidelines.
  • Conduct product-specific testing, ensure run@rate, and manage start-up and handover to series production.
  • Update process FMEAs according to local conditions and standards.
  • Support customer release processes (PPAP), including initial sample reporting.
  • Identify and implement product and material optimization opportunities in alignment with central product development.
  • Address and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints and internal rejects, in partnership with Quality.
  • Drive process optimization to improve quality, efficiency, and capability (e.g., extrusion speed, vulcanization, cutting).
  • Develop and maintain production cost calculations using lean principles.
  • Define job instruction sheets and standard times through time studies.
  • Ensure local implementation of central industrialization standards.

Provide feedback for continuous improvement of industrialization standards, documentation, and IT tools (e.g., FMEA software).

Qualifications

  • Experience in leading industrialization for rubber processing and production equipment
  • New Product Launch experience - Greenfield as a plus
  • Product and process industrialization related technologies, systems, infrastructures, standards and processes
  • Quality management (including quality policies, systems and processes)
  • Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques
  • String Lean Manufacturing principles, methods and tools (e.g. production management system)
  • Proved experience in Leadership & management skills, leading process experts (incl. performance management and people development techniques)
  • Spanish and English Fluent
