Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to help maintain and extend the IT systems in support of one of our largest Government contracts.  Primary responsibilities will be to assist in the implementation of a new Lab Information Management System (LIMS) and the tasks related to the data migration of the existing collection. The ideal candidate will have some experience with lab related information systems. Going forward, the Applications Developer will be part of the technical team responsible for new custom development as well as integration with a Business Process Management (BPM) product.  Candidate will report to the Director of Applications Development.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, as well as 3+ years experience with  Java development (certification is a plus).  Additionally, this individual will have experience with J2EE/JEE/Servlets/JSPs/JSTL; 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server; Stored procedures/Transact-SQL; SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); 3+ years experience with Web development; HTML/CSS; JavaScript; and JavaScript libraries (JQuery).   We are looking for a an individual who has good collaboration skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
