Symplified is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, and can be found online at www.symplified.com.  We're looking for a rockstar Marketing Manager to join our rapidly expanding Marketing team!   The Marketing Manager will be based out of our Boulder headquarters and have direct responsibility for online marketing, demand generation, campaign development, tradeshows, and overall sales and channel support.  We’re looking for someone who has in-depth knowledge and experience in building, managing and analyzing marketing programs and activities for enterprise software and/or services.  This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing startup and play an active role in helping build and grow Symplified’s brand and market leadership.

Job Description

As the Marketing Manager, you will wear a number of hats and play a central role in helping drive outbound marketing activities. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, implement and analyze online and offline marketing programs that drive customer acquisition, engagement and brand awareness
  • Develop and manage all marketing and sales collateral and tools, spanning datasheets, case studies, videos, etc.
  • Manage Symplified’s presence at key industry tradeshows and corporate events
  • Work closely with Sales to support customer engagement and acquisition
  • Manage co-marketing activities with key partners
  • Assist in managing the Symplified Web site
  • Provide key metrics and insight into marketing performance


You have 5+ years experience in a marketing, online marketing or marketing communications role, preferably in enterprise software or services. Additionally you have:

  • Extensive experience in building and managing marketing programs / campaigns for driving demand generation from concept through execution and analysis
  • Understanding of key marketing metrics and how to track/analyze
  • In depth knowledge of Marketo for marketing automation and campaign management
  • In depth knowledge of Salesforce.com for marketing
  • Experience with Wordpress CRM, Web analytics, and other content, publishing and analytics tools
  • Experience managing SEO and SEM programs, and preferably some familiarity with Twitter advertising, retargeting and online display-based advertising
  • Experience managing tradeshows and events
  • Outstanding communication, organization and overall project management skills
  • MS Office skills are required, HTML knowledge is preferred
  • Experience successfully managing concurrent projects and consistently delivering on time
  • Strong writing/editing skills with superior written, verbal and presentation abilities
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field; MBA a huge plus
