Job Description

DIS-TRAN Steel currently has an opening for a Data Systems Analyst.  The Data Systems Analyst - IT should have ability to troubleshoot/research/solve PC and network problems.  Analyze user requirements in a data processing/fabrication environment, automate tasks, and streamline system work flow.  This position reviews equipment and network specifications and provides a strategy or a potential solution.  The Data Systems Analyst will work closely with other employees and will require patience and a pleasant/optimistic attitude.  Installing/uninstalling software and repairing/replacing hardware will be required.

 

The Data Systems Analyst – IT will make suggestions to increase productivity and data collection methods.  Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develops strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field preferred.
  • Related experience preferred.
  • General technical knowledge of computer operating systems, including software and hardware, required.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Server 2005+, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, and CNC preferred.
