About the Cricut Product, Channel, and Social Media Team

You’ll be a part of a team that loves people and that people love. You will be allowed opportunities each and every day to directly impact the Cricut brand and how key influencers and consumers interact with us.

About the Social Partnerships Manager role: We’re looking for a stellar social partnerships manager to excite the Cricut community. You will have the opportunity to innovate new ways to engage our most active consumers, further expanding the growth of our brand. You will play a key role in shaping how we approach building our social partnerships for our brand and touching the lives of our amazing Cricut fan base across fun, engaging multiple categories like DIY.

We are seeking someone we can trust to be an enthusiastic advocate for the Cricut brand and who understands not just community but the relationship we have and desire to have with the world around us.

  • You will report to the Director of Product, Channel, and Social Marketing
  • You will be a consumer fanatic. We are big fans of our fans, every action we perform is to assist a potential consumer in eventually becoming a Cricut owner
  • You will grow our partnerships within communities related to the Cricut brand
  • You will provide innovative strategic ideas for partnership involvement in marketing programs
  • You will be in contact with partners, bloggers and influencers on a daily basis, so a great commitment to follow-up is a must-have skill
  • You will assist in monitoring our social media networks, and be expected to know what is happening when it happens
  • You will greatly assist with logistical and administrative items, so organization is a necessity 
  • Your day-to-day activities will always keep you learning about a communities’ mindset 

Responsibilities:

  • Partnership growth strategy and execution
  • Marketing campaign, partnerships, and blogger strategy
  • Blogger product launch strategy, planning and launch activity management
  • Project management; own day-to-day operations for partnership communications
  • Data reporting across partnership activations
  • Budget planning for partnerships


Partnerships

  • Partner with marketing team to provide promotions and activities to engage and excite our partnerships in the community and blogger network for both our retail channels and Cricut.com 
  • Monitor online conversations about the brand and engage when appropriate
  • Provide feedback on ways to improve the partnership experience
  • Stay on top of social media trends and innovations
  • Manage blogger / influencer strategy and outreach
  • Coordinate blogger efforts with our affiliate program for Cricut.com sales in partnership with our online marketing manager, taking in consideration Make section analytics, engagement, revenue (mainly digital content and consumables), conversation, time on site, pages viewed and SEO
  • Identify potential partnerships with bloggers and potential partners in spaces that touch the Cricut brand such as crafting communities


Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in online community development, communications, customer support or social marketing
  • Skilled writer / communicator
  • Have strong communication and relationship building skills to get to know bloggers and other key community members you will be in touch with frequently
  • Skills and familiarity with Photoshop, Excel, Google Docs and a photographic eye incredibly beneficial
  • Experience participating in and/or moderating community discussions
  • Superb organizational skills and ability to maintain several deliverables at once under changing and tight deadlines
  • Team player who can play a leadership role on cross-functional teams
  • Experience with developing sound business recommendations and gaining stakeholder buy-in
  • Have a good working knowledge of bloggers, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and emerging social media channels
  • Decision-making experiences demonstrating appropriate balance between thoughtful research and the need for timeliness
  • Self-motivated, and ability to work independently
  • Strong desire to learn and grow the brand
  • Have a passion for handmade and lifestyle crafts
  • A great sense of humor and pleasing working mentality
