Job Description
Assist with the management and production of all financial reporting functions within Provo Craft including:
- Monthly and quarterly reporting packages used by executive team, investors, debt holders, and board of directors
- Monthly “Management’s Discussion & Analysis” document
- Daily sales updates for internal use
Contribute to the forecasting and budgeting process:
- Work with sales team, department heads and executive team to accurately model the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows
- Participate in weekly short-term cash flow forecasting
- Re-forecast financial statements as needed for internal and external presentation
Conduct meaningful analysis of the company’s finances
- Help with budget-actual reconciliation meetings with department heads
- Budget-to-actual and period-over-period analysis of numerous key financial metrics
- Adhoc analysis at direction of/in cooperation with CFO, VP of Finance, Finance Manager, and other team members
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
Experience:
- Financial analysis experience
- Experience in report generating applications (Tableau Software preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required
- Working knowledge of MS Access preferred
Excel skills
- Intermediate/Advanced functions: Index, Match, nested “If” statements, Sumifs, etc.
- Table and graph design, including (but not limited to) Pivot Tables
- Financial modeling
- Building complex reports from large datasets with a professional look and feel
- Experience with VBA for MS Excel preferred
Access/SQL skills (preferred but not required):
- Ability to build forms, reports and macros
- Experience with VBA for MS Access is helpful
Familiarity with the following queries:
- Select Queries
- Make Table Queries
- Append Queries
- Update Queries
- Delete Queries
- Union Queries
- Ability to design in SQL View in addition to Design View strongly preferred
