Job Description

As a Product Manager, you will serve as the primary lead for developing the community engagement roadmap and bringing new features to market. You also will be responsible for gathering/sharing consumer insights and turning insights into strategies, defining and sharing the product vision across the organization, driving necessary approvals through the organization, working with UX and software teams to bring experiences to market, defining product requirements and acceptance criteria, working with product marketing to execute marketing plans, analyzing site performance post launch, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of new experience. 

You will be expected to provide strategic leadership not only within the department, but also across the broader organization, as you partner with cross-functional teams throughout the company to bring your products to market. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field; an MBA is a plus

• 5+ years product management experience, including a strong track record of delivering innovative product experiences

• Passion for all things social – know the ins and outs of social media and actively engaged in connecting on a daily basis  

• Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done

• Passion for the consumer – desire to really get to know the consumer, translating the consumer needs into product requirements and experiences

• Excellent communication skills – demonstrated use of written, presentation and verbal skills to drive team enthusiasm for products and gain stakeholder buy-in

• Working at all levels – proven ability to drive strategic thinking about the product direction as well as focus on the executional details 

• Team player – build strong relationships with the cross-functional team while serving as the team lead to drive results 

• Data-driven decisions – know how to get and analyze data to make business decisions, balancing thoughtful research with the need for timeliness
