The Profession

As the Rehab Director, you will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate for patients ranging in age from middle age to geriatrics including Physical Therapy and where applicable - Wound Prevention; coordinate and direct patient care to optimize patient safety and reduce the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors; ensure patients' needs are met and hospital policy is followed.  Far more, your regular responsibilities include, making an appropriate assessment on all patients regarding therapy requested; observe and evaluate treatments effectively; formulate a teaching plan based on the learning needs of the patient - involving the family as appropriate- and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning; assess patient pain which interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact physician for appropriate intervention; oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain productivity standards.

  • Education:  Master's Degree, required; Doctorate Degree, preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years post graduate experience as PT
  • Proven track record of Management experience - Rehabilitative Medicine
  • Active state license to practice in Georgia
  • Relevant specialty certifications/credentials
  • *References - must be submitted immediately on request
