Job Summary: Talent Acquisition Partner

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to help build our team at DLJ Financial. In this role you will have ownership and the ability to help shape one of Orange County's most admired mortgage companies.  From sourcing strategy, through on-boarding you will directly impact the quality of the  candidate experience. We need a driven recruiter who wants to make an impact and be part of something special.    

  Essential Job Functions:

  • Partners with functional areas to execute business units’ strategy to meet recruiting expectations
  • Build a network of talent through direct sourcing, networking, and identification of top talent in the marketplace.
  • Work collaboratively with other areas of human resources to ensure recruiting objectives are achieved.
  • Act independently to proactively identify problem areas impeding the success of a search and create/implement solutions to resolve.
  • Leads social media recruiting programs
  • Advising and guiding management in best practice performance management and ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies and applicable employment law
  • Assists in preparation of metrics and reports; assures the integrity, timeliness and maintenance of the recruiting data
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in recruiting; offers expertise and consults with business units 
  • Assists in maintaining and tracking spending against advertising and recruiting budgets
  • Assists in process improvement efforts for increased efficiency, quality and candidate experience
  • Continuously improves and implements recruiting methodologies and readily adapt strategies to adjust to changing market and customer conditions.


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with at least 1 year in corporate recruiting experience in a high volume fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with major course work in a discipline related and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education; PHR/SPHR certification a plus but not required
  • Behavioral interviewing/ Competency focused interviewing certifications desired
  • Viewed as a trusted partner for advice and guidance on all talent acquisition matters
  • Be truly exceptional as a communicator: Interpersonal skills, professional, friendly, energetic, and ability to influence others 
  • Strong knowledge of the local market - salaries and competition. 
  • Proficient knowledge of recruiting trends, tools, and HR related processes
  • Skilled at establishing relationships to effectively interact with, support and coach all levels within an organization
  • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) tools helpful, but not required
  • Mortgage industry or financial services industry preferred
